TempSure Radiofrequency

Envi, eyeEnvi, TempSure Firm & FlexSure for Face, Eyes and Body

TempSure is a professional radiofrequency system that allows us to treat concerns ranging from fine lines and early skin laxity to cellulite and larger areas of the body.

At The Skin Clinic @ Raintree Spa, we use Envi for the face, eyeEnvi for the delicate eye area, TempSure Firm for cellulite and body treatments, and FlexSure for contouring larger body areas.

What we like about TempSure is that treatments are comfortable, require no numbing and have little to no downtime, making it a good choice when a gentler approach is appropriate.

BENEFITS

Face, Eyes & Body
Different applicators allow us to treat everything from the delicate eye area to larger areas of the body.

No Needles or Numbing
Treatments feel comfortably warm without breaking the surface of the skin.

Little to No Downtime
Return to most normal activities immediately after treatment.

What Is TempSure?

TempSure is a 300-watt, 4 MHz radiofrequency system developed by Cynosure Lutronic.

Radiofrequency uses controlled heat to create a response within the tissue. Depending on where and how we use it, this can stimulate collagen, improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, temporarily smooth the appearance of cellulite or provide controlled heating over larger areas of the body.

Unlike many laser treatments, radiofrequency does not rely on targeting pigment within the skin. This allows us to use TempSure across a broad range of skin tones.

The treatment itself is quite simple from the guest's perspective. There are no needles, no numbing and no significant recovery. What changes is the applicator we use and how we deliver the treatment depending on what we are trying to improve.

FOUR APPLICATIONS. ONE RF SYSTEM.

TempSure Envi: Facial Radiofrequency

TempSure Envi uses monopolar radiofrequency to gently heat the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen and improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

The system monitors temperature throughout the treatment and begins timing once the tissue reaches the desired therapeutic temperature. This helps us maintain controlled, consistent heating rather than simply relying on how warm the skin feels.

Envi can be a good option for:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Crow's feet
  • Mild loss of firmness
  • Early skin laxity
  • Skin that looks less smooth or resilient than it once did

The treatment feels warm and comfortable, with no needles, numbing or significant downtime.

For someone beginning to notice changes in firmness, this may be all that is needed. More established jowling, loose neck skin or loss of facial definition may require a more advanced Skin Tightening treatment.

TempSure EyeEnvi: Focused Treatment Around the Eyes

The eye area is often one of the first places we notice changes in our skin.

Fine lines become more visible, the skin can begin to look crepey and the area may not look as smooth or firm as it once did.

TempSure eyeEnvi uses a small 10 mm applicator designed specifically for the thinner skin around the eyes. It allows us to deliver controlled radiofrequency heat precisely where we want it without treating the area more aggressively than necessary.

We may use eyeEnvi for:

  • Fine lines around the eyes
  • Crow's feet
  • Crepey skin
  • Mild loss of firmness
  • Early changes in the quality of the skin around the eyes

Because it is gentle and requires no downtime, eyeEnvi can also be an excellent place to start for someone who is noticing changes around the eyes but is not ready for a more involved skin rejuvenation or tightening treatment.

We use eyeEnvi within our Eye Revitalization treatment when the eye area is the primary concern.

TempSure Firm: Cellulite & Body Treatments

TempSure Firm brings radiofrequency treatment to larger areas of the body.

For cellulite, Firm combines controlled radiofrequency heating with a specialized massage applicator. The combination of heat and massage helps temporarily smooth the dimpled appearance of cellulite and improve the appearance of the treated area.

We commonly use Firm on areas such as:

  • Thighs
  • Buttocks
  • Abdomen
  • Arms

TempSure Firm can also be incorporated into selected body-contouring treatments when gentle radiofrequency heating is appropriate.

There are no needles or anesthesia, and the treatment feels comfortably warm. You can return to your normal activities afterward.

FlexSure: Comfortable Body Contouring

FlexSure allows us to treat larger areas of the body differently.

Instead of continuously moving a handpiece across the skin, flexible applicators wrap around the treatment area and deliver radiofrequency energy hands-free.

FlexSure can be used on areas including:

  • Abdomen
  • Flanks
  • Back
  • Arms
  • Buttocks
  • Thighs
  • Knees

A treatment takes approximately 15 minutes per application, making FlexSure a convenient option for treating larger areas.

We use FlexSure as part of our Body Contouring treatments when comfortable, controlled radiofrequency heating is appropriate for the area we are treating.

How Does Radiofrequency Work?

Radiofrequency creates controlled heat below the surface of the skin without removing or intentionally injuring the skin itself.

For facial treatments, that heat creates a response within the dermis that supports collagen remodeling. Because collagen changes gradually, improvement in firmness and skin quality develops over time rather than appearing as an artificial or abrupt change.

On the body, we can use the same underlying radiofrequency technology differently. TempSure Firm combines RF with massage when treating cellulite, while FlexSure allows us to deliver controlled heating across larger areas.

The common element is heat.

What changes is where we use it, how we deliver it and what we are trying to improve.

Why TempSure?

There are many ways to deliver radiofrequency energy.

We chose TempSure because it gives us a gentle, comfortable way to treat several very different concerns, from fine lines around the eyes to cellulite and larger areas of the body.

There is no numbing and no downtime. Treatments feel warm and comfortable, while controlled radiofrequency heating creates the treatment response we are looking for.

For facial treatments, TempSure gives us a lighter option when more intensive skin tightening is not necessary.

For the body, Firm and FlexSure allow us to adjust the treatment according to the area and what we are trying to improve.

Sometimes a gentle treatment is exactly the right treatment.

When it isn't, we have other options.

How TempSure Compares to Other Radiofrequency Treatments

Not all radiofrequency treatments work in the same way.

Some deliver RF through the surface of the skin. Others use needles to place the energy deeper into the tissue. The amount of heat, treatment depth and intensity can also vary considerably.

TempSure

TempSure delivers radiofrequency through the surface of the skin without needles.

Its strength is the combination of comfort and flexibility. We can use it around the delicate eye area, across the face and on much larger areas of the body with little to no downtime.

XERF

XERF is another radiofrequency technology we use for Skin Tightening.

It uses multiple radiofrequency frequencies to deliver energy at different depths. We may recommend XERF when skin laxity is more established, particularly through the lower face, jawline and neck.

Someone who needs XERF does not necessarily need TempSure, and someone who would benefit from TempSure does not necessarily need a more intensive treatment.

RF Microneedling

RF microneedling delivers radiofrequency energy through needles placed into the skin.

This creates a different treatment response and a different treatment experience. Because TempSure does not use needles, it can be a better fit for someone looking for a gentler approach with virtually no interruption to their normal routine.

There is no single radiofrequency treatment that is right for everyone.

The better question is what are we trying to improve, and how much treatment does your skin actually need?

Why Choose The Skin Clinic @ Raintree Spa

You shouldn't need to know whether you need Envi, eyeEnvi, Firm, FlexSure or another technology before you come to see us.

That is our job.

We start by looking at what you would like to improve and then consider the degree of correction you are looking for, your skin, your comfort with downtime and the treatment options available.

Sometimes TempSure is a very good choice because a gentle approach is all that is needed.

Sometimes another treatment will give you a better result.

If we don't believe TempSure is the right treatment for you, we'll tell you.

What Does TempSure Feel Like?

Warm.

That is the simplest way to describe it.

There are no needles and no numbing. Radiofrequency gradually heats the treatment area while the system monitors temperature and your provider controls the treatment.

With Envi and eyeEnvi, your provider moves the applicator across the skin as the area gradually warms.

With TempSure Firm, your provider works across the body treatment area. When treating cellulite, the massage applicator combines mechanical massage with radiofrequency heat.

With FlexSure, the flexible applicators are secured around the treatment area and deliver the RF energy hands-free.

Most guests find TempSure treatments very comfortable.

After Treatment

There is little to no downtime.

Your skin may look slightly pink or feel warm immediately afterward, but you can generally return to your normal activities right away.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

That depends on what we are treating.

A treatment around the eyes has a different objective from a cellulite or body-contouring treatment, so there is no single TempSure protocol that makes sense for everyone.

In many cases, we recommend a series because collagen remodeling and changes in skin quality develop gradually.

We'll recommend the number and frequency of treatments based on the area, what you would like to improve and how your skin or tissue responds.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is TempSure a laser?

No.

TempSure uses radiofrequency rather than laser or light energy. It creates controlled heat within the tissue without relying on a laser wavelength or targeting pigment.

What is TempSure Envi?

Envi is the facial applicator we use for concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles and early loss of firmness.

What is eyeEnvi?

eyeEnvi is a smaller TempSure applicator designed specifically for the thinner skin around the eyes.

We use it for concerns such as fine lines, crow's feet, crepey skin and mild loss of firmness.

What is TempSure Firm?

TempSure Firm is used for body treatments. When treating cellulite, we use a specialized massage applicator that combines radiofrequency heat with mechanical massage to temporarily improve the appearance of cellulite.

What is FlexSure?

FlexSure uses flexible applicators that wrap around larger body areas and deliver radiofrequency energy hands-free.

We use it within selected Body Contouring treatments.

Are TempSure Firm and FlexSure the same?

No.

Both use TempSure radiofrequency technology, but they deliver the treatment differently.

Firm uses handpieces that your provider moves across the body and includes a specialized massage applicator for cellulite.

FlexSure uses flexible, hands-free applicators designed to treat larger areas.

Depending on what we are treating, either may form part of a body-contouring treatment.

Is TempSure the same as XERF?

No.

Both use radiofrequency, but they deliver energy differently.

TempSure gives us a gentle option for facial rejuvenation, the eye area and body treatments. XERF allows us to deliver radiofrequency at multiple depths and may be more appropriate when skin laxity is more established.

Does TempSure hurt?

TempSure should feel warm, but it should not be painful.

No needles or numbing are required.

Is there downtime?

There is little to no downtime from TempSure treatment. Some temporary warmth or mild redness can occur immediately afterward.

Can TempSure be used on different skin tones?

Yes.

Because radiofrequency does not depend on targeting melanin, TempSure can be used across a broad range of skin tones.

How quickly will I see a difference?

That depends on the treatment.

When we are using TempSure to stimulate collagen, changes develop progressively as the skin responds and remodels. Body and cellulite treatments have different treatment objectives and timelines.

We will explain what is realistic for the treatment we are recommending rather than applying the same expectations to every TempSure treatment.
